This is #27 in the "In Death" series and once again, it didn't disappoint. In this one, Lt. Eve Dallas is working on solving the poisoning death of a much-loved priest while he performed a funeral mass. What follows is an investigation that reveals people who what they said they were and a crime 15 years in the making. A copy cat killer in the mix makes for quite the conundrum. I pick up an "In Death" book every time I finish a difficult read or something that has left me slightly exhausted. It's ability to provide pure entertainment, escape and a quick read never fails to deliver. Once again, if you haven't read this series and are a lover of mystery and well-developed characters, pick one up...you won't be disappointed.
