I'm now on to the 25th novel in the "...In Death" series by J.D. Robb. A novel set in the future (2060) featuring Eve Dallas (an NYPSD lieutenant- New York Police and Security Department) and her husband Rourke who, together with a cast of recurring characters help to solve some heinous crime. This one focuses on the work of a serial killer returning after 9 years absence from New York. A serial killer that Eve and her then partner Feeney couldn't catch. They are now determined to nab the man who tests his ability to keep his victims alive through torture for as long as possible. These novels are always an easy read and I'm sure this one won't be different. I'll let you know.
Update: I've finished Creation in Death by J.D. Robb...once again, an engrossing, thriller filled with humor and the absolute "easy read" I was hoping for when I picked it up. If you've not read the "...in Death" series - do, and make sure to start at the begining!
