My newest read is Death Dance by Linda Fairstein. This is the latest (paperback) novel with the recurring character Alexander Cooper - an assistant DA in the sex crimes division in NYC. This particular mystery/investigation deals with a Russian ballerina who has been found dead in the Metropolitan Opera House. So far, really good. I'll let you know.
So here's a funny thing: At school, one of the English teachers sent an email out to the staff, asking for our favorite book with the author and a little blurb on what it's about and/or why it's our favorite. So I emailed my pick back to her (I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb). Yesterday, she sends out the list of all the teachers who replied. Dang. I tell you, if she had left the names of teachers off the list, I could have easily picked out certain people, just from how annoying they are. My colleague, for instance, who can't make a decision or speak a complete sentence or finish a thought to save her life sent her LIST which had about 10 books. It was pretty funny. Make a decision freak! (I know, there are so many good books out there). So, my request of those reading this is to hit "comment" on this post and let me know what your favorite book(s) is. Summer is coming and I need to stock up.
