Got a new book I'm reading: But Inside I'm Screaming by Elizabeth Flock. It's about a woman who goes off the deep end, on live television, tries to kill herself, does not succeed and is finally admitted into a psyche ward. She has a difficult time at first believing that she is like all the other "nuts" on the ward but she finally reaches the understanding that in order to heal, she must rely on herself and deal with the issues she has ignored for so long.
I've only just begun reading - yesterday - but am nearly through. In other words, it's a fast and easy read.
It's weird: I seem to choose books that aren't very uplifting. I guess in reading this type of book, my own life seems bearable and certainly not full of such angst.
